Prochazka and Costa to headline star studded UFC327

As one of the most keenly anticipated UFC events this year, the likes of Jiri Prochazka and Paulo Costa will all feature at UFC327 at the Kaseya Centre in Miami on Sunday morning.

Main card set to commence at 3am (CAT, GMT+2).

Prochazka (32-5-1) is widely regarded as one of the most dangerous fighters in the Light Heavyweight division currently, as he heads into his next fight on the back of high profile wins against Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr.

The 33-year-old Czech recorded knockout wins in both of his last two fights, while he earned a Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night award during his fight with Rountree at UFC320 on 4 October.

Prochazka is currently ranked second in the UFC Light heavyweight standings, while Ulberg (14-1-0) comes in at No 3 on the list.

The New Zealander has quietly gone about his business in the UFC during the last couple of years and will face Prochazka on the back of nine consecutive wins.

Ulberg, 35, last fought against Dominick Reyes on 28 September 2025, where he defeated the former title contender via knockout in the main event at a UFC Fight Night.

Prior to his win over Reyes, Ulberg defeated Jan Blachowicz via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night: Edwards v Brady, on 22 March in London, England.

Speaking ahead of the fight, Prochazka revealed that he intends on commencing the fight on the front foot, given his tag of being a slow starter inside the Octagon.

"Start faster," Prochazka said, when asked how he would approach his next bout.

"That means, to me, to handle all these keys, how to unlock these primal aggressions inside myself to go there to the fight to the second round, to start the first round like the second round.

“This is something what we, the team, are focused on – to not start slowly, (taking) too long watching the opponent. I don't like that. As soon as I can start in the fight, then I can deliver a win."

Then, the popular Paulo Costa will be the main attraction in the co-main event, as he moves up a weight class to fight Azamat Murzakanov in the Light Heavyweight division.

Costa is coming off a unanimous decision win over Roman Kopylov in a fight that took place at UFC318 on 19 July, while Murzakanov could make it six wins in a row in the UFC.
