East London set to test the media’s best

The National Extreme Festival rolls into the coastal city of East London on 19 July for Round 5 of the GR Cup Championship.
With just three rounds remaining, the battle for championship points is more crucial than ever.
The East London Grand Prix Circuit is not your average racetrack.
It holds the crown as South Africa’s fastest and most feared circuit.
With long straights and unforgiving high-speed corners such as Potter’s Pass and Rifle Bend, it demands total commitment, precision and respect.
The track’s history dates back to the 1930s, and while it has evolved over the years, it remains a true test of bravery.
So daunting is the layout that Toyota Gazoo Racing has summoned the GR Cup Media Challengers to TGR HQ for a session in their world-class simulator.
In this case, prevention really is better than cure!
All three GR Cup classes will be back on track including the GR Cup Media Challengers who are eager to unleash all 280bhp from their Turbocharged pocket rockets onto the historical tarmac.

After a dominant double victory at Zwartkops, SuperSport’s Nabil Abdool leads the standings.
The rest of the grid will no doubt be pushing hard to close the gap at SA’s fastest track.
The action promises to be edge-of-your-seat thrilling.
Expect plenty of high-speed slipstream battles down the back straight, audacious late-braking moves into Cocobana and elbows-out racing from 25 of the finest GR-bred cars in the country.
Whether you're trackside or tuning in online, this round is not to be missed.
East London always delivers the action!
