India elected to bowl after rain caused a delay to the toss in their ICC Women's Cricket World Cup match against Bangladesh at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.

India host Bangladesh, with Harmanpreet Kaur's side hoping to enter the knockout stages in winning form.

India will take on Australia in the second semifinal in Navi Mumbai on Thursday and are sure to want to enter that match having won two games on the trot.

Bangladesh have won just one match at the tournament, but could rise as high as sixth on the standings with a victory over India.
