South Africa were far more composed in the second half. Despite not having use of the scrum as a weapon, they were able to outmuscle Australia and create more chances. The forward power told and South Africa take a bonus point win away from Perth.
Mistakes from both sides prevent either from making the most of attacking ball. Australia have the put in to an uncontested scrum.
Du Toit gets onto a cross kick and goes close but his offload goes forwards. Australia have to scrum close to their own line but they are still uncontested.
CONVERSION, SOUTH AFRICA, POLLARD, 12-30:
Pollard slots the conversion to make it a long way back for Australia.
TRY, SOUTH AFRICA, MARX, 12-28:
Marx goes over at the tail of a dominant maul.
YELLOW CARD, AUSTRALIA, URU:
Uru has to go to the bin after frequent spoiling from Australia.
South Africa get another penalty and cannot use their advantage so they will set up a lineout close to the Australia line.
South Africa get up to contest but knock on and Australia have the scrum but they knock on just two phases into the next attack and South Africa kick clear.
Australia get a couple of penalty options and South Africa are warned as the Wallabies set up the lineout five out.
South Africa cannot convert but lead by 11 after the try.
TRY, SOUTH AFRICA, MARX, 12-23:
Marx powers over eventually after losing his footing.
The Wallabies are penalised at the lineout and they will set up again.
South Africa turn down the shot at goal and will try to maul over from the lineout. First they need to secure a slippery ball.
There has been a lot of kicking with the conditions so tricky for ball playing. South Africa do well to secure a sloppy ball at the lineout. Lolesio knocks on in the air and South Africa have the scrum ten inside the Australia half.
Kolbe sees one kick go straight into touch but soon after redeems he himself with a huge bomb that sends Australia back to their own 22.
A huge let-off for Australia comes as Nortje picks up the ball in a ruck on the Australian line.
Australia obstruct South Africa which gets them out of trouble after a sustained spell in the green half. South Africa set up the lineout on the Wallabies 22.
The scrums become uncontested with Slipper off for an HIA. South Africa won't like that one bit.
A hoist goes up from Feinberg-Mngomezulu but it is knocked on by the Springboks. Australia have the scrum feed ten from halfway.
PENALTY, AUSTRALIA, LOLESIO, 12-18:
Lolesio brings the game back within seven with his penalty kick that hits the upright and bounces in.
A sloppy piece of play allows Australia to call for the tee as the South Africans play the nine again coming through the ruck.

The conversion is good.
TRY, SOUTH AFRICA, VAN STADEN, 9-18:
Van Staden comes up with the ball for his first Test try after the maul over.
South Africa get a sealing off penalty and then see it marched ten forward as White hangs onto the ball. They kick to touch for the lineout.
South Africa restart deep but White finds a good touch ten from halfway.
HALF TIME: AUSTRALIA 9-11 SOUTH AFRICA
Lolesio misses the kick to take the lead and Australia go into the break still behind but very much back in the match. South Africa will rue the chances they missed to move further ahead. This game is hanging right in the balance.
Australia will have a penalty and the chance to take a lead into half time if they go for goal.
Australia use a neat worked play to secure a 50/22 and a lineout inside the Springboks 22.
The restart goes straight into touch and Australia have the scrum on halfway.
PENALTY, AUSTRALIA, LOLESIO, 9-11:
Lolesio slots the long kick.
A TMO call on an early tackle will give Lolesio a chance to close the gap from the tee.
The Springboks win the hit but then keep going and Australia get the free kick which they kick to touch inside the South African half.
A skew lineout feed costs the Springboks the ball in the Australian 22. Australia have the scrum but the packs go down again.
Australia scramble it clear after Fassi's little dinked chip is gathered by Lolesio.
A knock on from Louw gives Australia a breather and a scrum. Play will resume ten inside the Australia half with a scrum.
Kolbe is away on the intercept but South Africa struggle to keep up with him in support and lose the ball on the ground. Australia have the scrum on their own 22.
PENALTY, SOUTH AFRICA, FEINBERG-MNGOMEZULU, 6-11:
Feinberg-Mngomezulu slots the goal.
The referee wants this scrum reset as well. The Springboks can attack with advantage after an offence in the scrum when it is eventually set. They don't use it and call for the tee.
The Springboks have an attacking scrum. Australia were under pressure after a loose restart left them backed against their line. A loose ball is knocked on by Australia and this is a big scrum.
PENALTY, AUSTRALIA, LOLESIO, 6-8:
Lolesio goals a good long kick.
South Africa get the penalty off the restart but at the lineout after their kick to touch was a sloppy effort from the Springboks and they are pinned for not releasing.
The conversion goes awry. South Africa lead by five though in a quick turnaround.
TRY, SOUTH AFRICA, FASSI, 3-8:
Fassi is after the kick from Mapimpi and snatches it to score. The Springboks were under pressure after a poor kick but a spilled ball allowed them to counter.
PENALTY, SOUTH AFRICA, FEINBERG-MNGOMEZULU, 3-3:
The scores are level after the penalty kick.
Australia jackal before the player has rolled away and the Springboks will call for the kicking tee.
White skews his clearance into touch on the Australian 22 and South Africa have another lineout. However, they pull off the steal and kick it out another ten metres further forward.
A spilled pass costs the Springboks a certain try as Kolbe cannot link up with his flyhalf after a great break on the counter by the winger. Australia have a scrum inside their 22. They kick a cross kick and Mapimpi gathers and just spills it in the tackle just five out. Australia have another scrum.
Australia get a penalty call at scrum time that is dubious at best but they kick up into the South African half with their freebie.
The lineout feed isn't straight and South Africa have the scrum feed just beyond the ten metre line.
Kellaway lets the ball slip through his fingers and the Springboks have a lineout about 12 metres inside the Australian half. South Africa attack with purpose but a cross kick flies straight into touch.
PENALTY, AUSTRALIA, LOLESIO, 3-0:
That's a good start from the tee for Lolesio.
White is taken out by a player coming through a ruck and Australia have an early penalty.
The referee is unhappy with the scrum setup and asks them for a quick reset.
KICK OFF: White kicks off for Australia and South Africa knock on off the start and the Wallabies have an early attacking scrum.
